We are thrilled to announce that Jetamio has joined Serendipity Center’s Board of Directors! Jetamio brings a unique and invaluable perspective, shaped by a deep commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, as well as a strong personal connection to Serendipity’s mission.

Currently serving as the Equity and Inclusive Learning Manager at Relay Resources, Jetamio is dedicated to fostering environments where everyone feels valued and empowered. Their work focuses on creating inclusive learning programs that address the unique needs of diverse communities. Reflecting on this passion, Jetamio shares:

“As a disabled trans professional of color, I have dedicated my life to promoting equity and ensuring everyone has access to the resources they need to succeed. I strive to create spaces where all people can thrive, regardless of their background or identity.”

Jetamio’s connection to Serendipity runs deep, having previously been a member of our staff. Now, as a board member, Jetamio aims to build a culture of belonging while keeping children’s needs at the forefront.

“As a former employee at Serendipity Center and now a member of the Board of Directors, I aim to ensure children’s needs come first and that they have the opportunity to grow in their future.”
