Serendipity Center Welcomes Christopher Scott to the Board of Directors

We are pleased to introduce Christopher Scott, MSW as a new member of Serendipity Center’s Board of Directors!

Christopher Scott is a dedicated social worker, born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of roles, with a special focus on empowering young men of color. In 2018, Christopher launched a podcast to explore the complexities of the social work field and to share insights from his own professional journey.

Currently, he is pursuing his credential in educational leadership at Portland State University, with the goal of becoming a school principal. Alongside his work in education, Christopher has expanded his storytelling through photography, videography, and content creation.

Today, he serves as a School Social Worker in Beaverton, Oregon, a vibrant suburb just outside of Portland. His passion for mental health, equity, and student-centered support aligns deeply with Serendipity’s mission, and we look forward to having his experience and perspective strengthen our work and impact!
