What people say about Serendipity
“I’d like to recognize several staff members for their help with my child:
Brooke – She has been an amazing teacher that has tried to help and engage with him. I really appreciate all she has done to communicate and work around his interests. I am so happy she is working with my son this year.
Mavis – She has been able to communicate with my son in a way that many others can’t. Their shared interests have had a great impact on his communication that I’m so grateful for.
Ryan – He has been able to make a bond with my son that is hard to do. His demeanor seems to have really helped him open up.
Graciela – Her open communication has helped our family see what’s been working for my son at school. We appreciate knowing what is helping him.
Prayer – His calm demeanor seems to really help my son through his day. We are so glad he found a person that makes him feel comfortable.”
“Thank you so much to the staff at Serendipity Center. Our daughter has a hard time connecting with the other students but has made many bonds with the teachers and staff at Serendipity. You make her day by listening to her stories, going for walks with her or eating lunch with her. I was so impressed during open house how many of the staff she said hi to. She has a hard time with going to school but all the staff has made it such a welcoming environment that she doesn’t seem to mind going anymore. Somedays she is excited to go to tell staff new additions to her stories she thinks they will appreciate.
Thank you all so much!”
“All of the staff have had a part in helping my son achieve what a lot of people thought he couldn’t. He has shown exceptional growth since working with you all. Notably, Lucia. You have made a substantial difference in not just my son’s life but the life of my family with your exceptional case management skills! You’ve helped us access services for him that I wouldn’t have been able to find myself. You’ve given us great peace of mind! To all of the staff who have worked with my son, I applaud you. He isn’t easy to work with, but you still come back and give your all for all of the students like him. I know this job isn’t easy, it isn’t for just anyone. It’s for those whose hearts are open wide, it’s a dedication of not just your time but your love and care. That extra space in your heart for these kids both big and small make all the difference for them and their families.
From our family’s heart to the Serendipity team, thank you SO much for what you do!”
