PEARLS OF HOPE 2019 was a magical evening and with your incredible support, we raised over $134,000 which will enable us to continue to provide integrated education through our Four Pillar Fund to our students. This would not be possible without your generosity!

To celebrate our 40th birthday at this year’s Pearls of Hope, Serendipity Center commissioned local portrait artist Jake Smith to create eight portraits depicting the transformational journey our children experience as they heal. These portraits were unveiled in a unique gallery called ‘Portraits of Hope’ as guests entered the venue. We will be sharing more about these portraits in the coming weeks.

The highlight of this year’s program was a moving collaborative presentation called ‘I AM’ that was performed by a small group of Serendipity students and staff. Guests also bid on silent auction items, entered the raffle and raised their paddles all in support of Serendipity’s mission.

Serendipity Center’s success depends on the generous support of our community partners. At our annual Pearls of Hope fundraising event, these partners gather to invest in the future of Serendipity. This event is a critical part of our fundraising efforts each year and funds raised are crucial to the successful operations of Serendipity Center’s ongoing therapeutic programs such as the Growing Minds Garden, art therapy, life skills, and therapeutic recreation. We want to say a huge thank you to the Sponsors and Silent Auction Donors who made the evening possible. (View our Sponsors here)
