Serendipity Impact Report — 2020-2021

Despite constantly-evolving technology needs and safety protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic, Serendipity Center offered innovative, therapeutic education to 105 students from 20 districts in the 2020-2021 school year.

We offered remote learning until April, followed by a hybrid remote/in-person learning option through June.
In June, we graduated one of our largest senior classes in our 40-year history.

We are grateful for your support.

During the 2020-2021 school year…

We’re proud to report a nearly 80% student engagement rate during the last school year.
At Serendipity, we define student engagement as showing up and participating in class. This is an extraordinary outcome, especially during a pandemic, and a demonstration of the dedication and resilience of our students, staff, and teachers.

for students and staff to enable remote learning and working.

The outcomes in this impact report reflect the motivation of our students, the tenacity of our staff, and the investment of our community. Our work is possible thanks to the generosity of supporters who share our belief that all children deserve to reach their full potential.
